“To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul”.
(Psalm 25:1)

“Make me know your ways, O Lord;
Teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
For you are the God of my salvation;
For you I wait all the day long.
(Psalm 25:4-5)

“Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord”.
(Psalm 27:14)

“The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
To the soul who seeks him”.
(Lamentations 3:25)

“I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in his word I Hope;”
(Psalm 130:5)

“to wait” is action.
It is a verb and means ~
“to stay in a place of expectation”,
“to look forward expectantly”
“to be ready and available” ~ I will wait.
