Conversations with God ~ The Irony of Job

Heartworks

Heartworks

“And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends, And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” (Job 42:10)

It is our nature to easily forget that we have been made by God and for God. ~  Not He for us.

Yet when we remember He is so gentle to forgive.

“He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness

for his name’s sake.”  (Psalm 23:3)

Lord, thank you for your restoration in reconciliation. ~ Amen :Y

  1. Forgiveness is so important to God. It is worthy of note that the Lord did not restore Job until he prayed for his “friends” that wounded him so deeply.
