“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.”
The heart is regarded as the center of all life, both physically and spiritually. We know that the physical heart must be healthy and in good working order, otherwise we die. Do you think that applies to the spiritual heart as well?
Did you know that the word “Heart” is mentioned well over 765 times in the Bible (KJV)? I found that interesting, especially since the word heart is synonymous with love, and we know that God is Love. Did you know that the word Love is mentioned about 280 times in the Bible (KJV)? Have you been alert to your heart? I know I have. My prayer has been to know God’s heart, and surprisingly I began to notice my own heart becoming a wee bit, shall we say, vulnerable. I knew it was from the heartworks of God, but I found it interesting that I wanted to know His heart, and it was mine He was changing.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:7-16)
Let’s take a journey, a journey to God’s Heart, a journey in His Love and to His Love. ~Amen: Y
