The Heartworks Journey – The Soul Catcher

The Heartworks Journey is the journey between the head and the heart, and it is the soul catcher’s journey.

Mother Teresa has been quoted as saying, “Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. A joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love.” We all instinctively seek that love, yet we know not what, or where it is; so we travel many roads. We typically begin our journey seeking first the results; that which is joy. Alas, we call it happiness, and we soon learn this state of the heart is temporal and external; and we travel on.

If we are properly mapped in His Word we come to know the journey begins with love ~ and that love is God ~ for God is love. This is our true heart’s desire, our heart’s burning, and our journeys destination; to be with God through abiding in His love. For now we are in His true joy, and he gifts us throughout the travel.

And our heart’s burning grows stronger in faith from that tiny seed planted within a harvest’s sowing. We hear, and are called to unite our Will to His. In listening, silence, prayer, and in seeking, we come to know His abundant life in a joyful heart, as He catches our souls.

It is a long and arduous journey from the mind to the heart. There are many obstacles and challenges along the way. If we are lost, He seeks us first, because in the beginning; we know not what it is we seek ~ except the results ~ in a heartworks journey.

“You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek”. (Psalm 27:8)
