It’s All About the Relationship ~ Humility in His Divine Grace

A Precious Lamb Never Cries Out When Wounded

“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
(Luke 14:11)

“Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5)

“Humility is perfect quietness of heart. It is to expect nothing, to wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing done against me. It is to be at rest when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised. It is to have a blessed home in the Lord, where I can go in and shut the door, and kneel to my Father in secret, and am at peace as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around and above is trouble.” Andrew Murray

The world views humility as the act of lowering the status in oneself.

But oh how precious and with such honor to be called Humble.

For it is the very act of rising to Divine Grace in total submission.

Gracious Father thank you for keeping my complete trust in you to fully direct the outcome of events. It is comforting to know that I do not need to be, that which is unnatural for me, in asserting my own strength for self-protection. I can trust in your secure protection. ~Amen :Y

“ O Lord, my heart is not lifted up;
My eyes are not raised to high;
I do not occupy myself with things
To great and too marvelous for me,
But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with its mother;
Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore.”
(Psalm 131: 1-3)
