Journey to Joy ~ Rejoice in the Day!

The Resurrection Joy

The Resurrection Joy

“This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us Rejoice and be glad in it.”
(Psalm 118:24)

REJOICE ~ It is Friday, Sunday has come, and today is the Day that the Lord has made!

It is the Day, the Resurrection Day that the Lord has made possible. Our Savior has ascended and we have reason to rejoice and be glad in the Day. It is our Redemption, He is our Redeemer ~ the rejected Cornerstone, the Lamb of God, the Risen Savior ~ REJOICE!

“Rejoice in the Lord always;
Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4)

“Rejoice always.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16)

“Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

“Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Blessed Father, how can it be that I allow my thoughts to dwell in sullen insignificance?
For it is in Christ that there is always rejoice; the most precious gift of your Son.
The strength in my remembrance lies in keeping prayerfully in you, and remaining in the deepest of thankfulness for the blessing of your Day.

The secret of Joy ~ our relationship with Jesus.

…”but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (20)
(Luke 10:17 – 20)

Spirit Filled Vessels

Spirit Filled Vessels

Spirit Filled Vessels

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;
against such things there is not law, and those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires”.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-25)

Vessels of Joy

“Though the fig tree should not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines,
The produce of the olive fail
And the fields yield not food,
The flock be cut off from the fold
And there be not herd in the stalls,

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
God, the Lord, is my strength;
He makes my feet like the deer’s;
He makes me tread on my high places”. (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

“This God – his way is perfect,
The word of the Lord proves true;
He is a shield for all who take refuge in him”.
For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? –
The God who equipped me with strength
and made my way blameless.
He made my feet like the feet of a deer
And set me secure on the heights”. (Psalm 18:31-33)

In the time of our deepest darkness, our trust in the Lord, produces great joy
and strength filled confidence; without fear.

Vessels of Belief

   “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,  so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”.

“but as it is written,
“Those who have never been told of him will see,
and those who have never heard will understand”. (Romans 15: 13, 21)
